Drawing has always been my “first love” as an artist. It’s what I’ve done since I was a toddler, and will do for the rest of my life. I also grew up with a love for stories, and an interest in the beauty of the human story – finding the things that connect us. This has been deepened and magnified through my Catholic faith. In a world where we always see-and-hear about how divided “we are” – it’s sad that we miss the small, beautiful moments the show just how CONNECTED we are. That’s the focus of my work. It’s in the everyday moments of life that we see the “masks” and façades come down; and we glimpse the beauty and connection that God has infused into every human life.
