Everyone – meet Lil’ Bob! This is his* blog, and these are our adventures in Art – “making big decisions in our lil’ world“.
So, before I go any further – no, I have NOT (necessarily) lost it. I always attribute my passion for Art to the encouraging influence of my Mom and Grandma. Part of that was exposure to Arts programming early in life – such as Bob Ross’s “The Joy of Painting” I found lil’ Bob in a collector’s store, and knew he was a needed addition to my office as I started my new position at my 8-5 career. In between clients, I found myself sketching, drawing, and painting on Post-It Notes – much as I would in my sketch book observations, but these were finished mini-pieces. I finally embraced a long dormant passion for working small (in addition to making my larger pieces).
Yes, I look at the technical aspects of Art. Yet, it was ultimately about the FUN. It was about the JOY of making. I want to be clear that I am NOT affiliated with Bob Ross, his estate, or his company. This is NOT to infringe on copy rights or intellectual properties. This is to, as Bob did with his audience share the simple expression of joy in life, and in Art.
